The NPEO (National Polytechnic English Olympics) competition is one of the English language competitions for polytechnic students aimed at cultivating the ability to convey critical thinking in English, channel aspirations through storytelling and speeches, and articulate ideas proficiently in English. NPEO is held annually under the auspices of the Bakorma Politeknik (Coordinating Body of Polytechnics) throughout Indonesia, with each polytechnic taking turns to host the event. In the 10th edition of NPEO in 2023, Sriwijaya State Polytechnic has the honor of hosting this competition.
